Having left behind my other ideas I drew some vermin. I've been consciously try to work in a different way in order to transfer my work into Illustrator. Started out with rats as they were the origin of this concept and with them fresh in my memory I can work quickly and get some vector work going to practice before the final postcards.
Working with thick lines I planned to either trace or, (cheat a bit) use live trace in Illustrator. Drawing in this way is new to me and so far it feel boring and rigid the image just looks static to me.
After spending a lot of time tracing every single line of my drawing I was left with the same drawing, only now it was a vector. This impressed me as I was able to almost replicate my analog work being slightly reminiscent of my tone of voice, something I'm striving to keep in my work during this project.
