Adobe After Effects - Introduction 2

This second session with Mike concentrated on setting up an After Effects composition and importing images to work with. I found this to be rather easy once the images had been saved to the correct specifications. Making things move was rather satisfying, being rather simple applying last weeks lessons.

Setup of the composition was the same as last week. Setting up images for use in After Effects was the slightly complicated part.

Images to be used within a composition must been saved as jpegs at a resolution of 72. They must also be saved as a preset as 'Film and Video' as well as a background contents being 'Transparent'.

Using the stuff skills learnt last week and some images already saved to the correct specifications I made this really simple animation. Moving these around in After Effects has given me a slightly wider knowledge of what's achievable. Giving me a few ideas regarding some of the images from the author brief I am yet to animate.
