Mono / Lino print inductions were incredibly useful to me. I found mono print to be a bit loose and uncontrollable. Nether the less I used the time to make some textures. The Lino part or the workshop was also very helpful. I was able to use to make another planned species, the: Hararf-Hrarfy.
I took one of my other cuts to make use of the inks. Thankfully most people chose a different colour ink so we were able to interchange. The prints came out clean and I'm quite pleased with them. I had worried that without the texture they would be flat and void of something but I think the strength of the shape carries them.
Starting to find simply printing the cuts a bit repetitive I'm looking to start layering them in some way. Here I put some of my mono prints to work, overlaying them with a print. I like some of the intense colours achieved here. With screen print coming up using colour to mirror the themes of Adams's work is something I want to consider.
