Before I put anything into after effects I storyboarded a simple animation. I've kept it simple at first to see how I get on with the software. It could be that what I've planned is beyond my skills. Once I've got the eye moving I'll experiment with textures and fades in-between images.
A quick experiment with an acrylic Lino print and a press print. The texture is heavy and I think overcrowding the eye a little with the right where as the left is too clean. I need an eye with a texture that lies between the two extremes.
The colour behind them is a marbling texture taken from one of my screen prints, It's quite satisfying putting all these printing methods together. It's also good to get some of the intergalactic imagery - giving my prints and sting something more in common.
