The photography induction concentrated on the use of the DSLR's available for our use at college. Having previously studied photography the information given during the induction was already known to me. I made use of the session to explore the areas around college and the Leeds University Building.
At first I failed to see how relevant photography was on an illustration course however our tutor explained how we could make use of the equipment to document 3D work, take photographs for use in collage and as reference material for drawing.
Fast shutter speed allowed me to catch the fast moving car whilst panning right.
Long exposures were used to capture the movements of people and vehicles outside of the university.
