Something that really interests me where these different countries are concerned is the old architecture. Thousands of beautifully hand carved scenes can be found upon the walls of ancient temples all across South East Asia, They're story telling devices.
I've been studying the temples and their intricate details. I'm looking for imagery that I can use consistently in tandem with pattern variations across the range of bottles.
Architecturally these beautiful buildings are beautiful however I think for the bottle designs I must leave it out considering the size of the area available on the would not be big enough fit a whole scene. Instead I intend to concentrate on the carvings.
This guy eating a snake is iconic and stands for protection. It seemed very relevant to the brief in that Fever Tree is protecting their own in the locations where they source their product. I'd like to develop this further perhaps for the neck of the bottle.
Further research tells me that this icon can be found across the continent in different variations. Perhaps I could base each design around a carving from different temples found in each of my countries.
