Mystery - something that is difficult or impossible to explain or understand.
When I think mystery is think; Sherlock Holmes, did the egg come first or the chicken?, Cluedo, magnifying glass, tv, midsummer murders, police, mysterious woman, how planes work, clue
I found it difficult to generate ideas for this subject. Alike the definition I found it hard to understand where images are concerned. As the deadline approached I had to opt for a clue searching sort of image, rather simple. In a ploy to put a bit more behind the image I attempted to make it weird to perhaps echo my confused thoughts on the word.
Making something strange resulted. You look into it at an odd angle to start with, I like this however I'm not happy with the rest of it. Some of the lines look too clean even though I cut all but the magnifying glass in Lino. I don't plan on working like this again, there's a real loss with the colour and compositionally I think the bold shapes work a lot better as spots.
