Owls were my choice of subject matter for this brief. It was a clear decision for me as the owl is a symbol of Leeds - where I have come to become wise in the ways of Illustration. As discussed previously my work was taking a direction too simple for my liking. Here I made use of a vector drawing and some collaged print work for the wings.
I am happier with this more than most of the work I've made for this brief as I think my drawing couples well with the textured print. This did not work to quite the same effect with earlier work.
