Look, Think, Draw was an initial project that jogged my memory of observational drawing. Shown are a selection of drawings taken from observation at various locations visited including; Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Royal Armouries and Leeds Discovery Centre.
At the armoury I drew pieces of armour and weapons onto figures as well as simply drawing other visitors wondering slowly around the museum. Whilst at the Discovery centre I studied skeletons of animals as well as some impressive taxidermy. We were allowed only thirty minuets in temperature controlled room which got me drawing quicker than I usually would.
Our quick movement between these locations meant that all my drawing was sped up resulting in lots of sketches that I hate. However some of the mark making produced some interesting results.
