The final and largest gif was the rhythm hat. I'm happy with this final result being my most developed animation work so far.
Working with the same approach as before I drew each frame making use of the light box loosely to work over the drawing previous. Again working in this way gives is a wacky energy that I quite like, its as though my little drawing has come to life on the page. I also made the decision to keep registration marks on one frame. Initially a mistake - I think it adds to the hand drawn aesthetic that I want to keep hold of.
I feel any image that is as some point digitally worked risks becoming very general digital artwork, loosing tone of voice. Exactly not doing this was my ambition for this brief and I think I have been relatively successful.
These small animations have been fun to work on and it's satisfying to see my drawings in a new media still holding onto my tone of voice.
