About The Author - Douglas Adams

Adams was born in Cambridge 1952. He also studied in Cambridge gaining a BA and Ma in English literature. 'The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy' was his brainchild. 'Hitchhikers' began as a BBC radio series airing in 1978 before the best selling novel was written.

Over fifteen million of Adams's books have been sold world wide and in various languages. Following 'Hitchhikers' he went on to write a multitude of successful books, most concentrate on very similar themes.

Having already read a couple of Douglas Adams's books initially I'm going to take a look at things new to me. Such as 'The Meaning Of Liff', I might even give the 1980's radio show a listen.

This mind thing helped me make some decisions…
