Responsive - Collaboration - Meeting 2

Since the last meeting I was really struggling for ideas. What we discussed confused me more in terms of aesthetics so I had plenty of questions for the animators regarding how I will need to make images in order for them to be able to work with them.

I collected some images to give my colleagues an idea of what I'd been thinking of in terms of drawing. I like the idea of lots of small fish moving fast on blank white forming different shapes the final shape bing the MSC logo made of fish before fading into the logo to finish. With a voice over to explain as the animation progressed, perhaps comically or/and ironically as thats what I see 18-25 year olds being into. We might also be able to translate an air of pride in the MSC with a voice over.

This second meeting was highly productive, we all brought our ideas together and came up with a concept we could start to work around. My 'lots of fish idea' went down well as well as the voice over.

Our collective idea is to make the 30 second animation into an almost infographic style advert. This advert will explain the advantages of MSC and their ethics whilst being humorously confident. It will be set underwater following MSC divers and their study of the sea life.

We divided the work and made a time plan to work to. I have been given character/fish design and our graphic designer will be drawing the environments. Animators will then put everything together leaving a little time for collateral.
