I made another set of more refined roughs for each of the three images before moving on to cut and print many different shapes and textures for building the images digitally. I cut the different parts working from the roughs and taking my favoured shapes from various places.
As discussed previously I want to make use of printed textures and so I printed from the Lino using a different method. As I wanted some rather extreme textures I distressed a roller using sandpaper, superglue and a knife. Im quite happy with the results, hopefully the jagged edges will contrast well with the clean digital shapes when I compose everything digitally.
